Hacking Ethics

I know the phrase 'hacking ethics' is paradoxical, but let me explain what I mean; essentially what I want to know is what your stance is regarding to accounts that you acquire via blackhat methods. For example, if you obtain an account do you simply take the tradable wealth and then leave it, or do you drop the untradables? In my opinion, whilst hacking is inherently unethical, dropping untradables is a step too far - therefore when people brag about it, I become quite irate. What do you think - what's your opinion of the ethics of hacking?

I'm with you on this one.
Generally i take the valuables, leave them a few tradeable items (generally bronze stuff) and the untradeables. i never drop stuff.

I say its fine to steal people tradeable stuff that they more than likely botted for, but the untrades such as firecapes, that's a bit too much.

Most people think of the word "hacking" as if it was something bad.
But it is actually a profession, a "hacker" is not someone bad. Just that with time, the word has taken another meaning.

On topic, I just take the stuff and leave the account, then I laugh when I see the logs and they say like "wtf wheres my money!??!? I got hacked!!", then I dump the account.

I agree with you that 'hacking' doesn't always entail illegality, however, by definition it is bad - "unauthorised access to a data system".

Theres more than one type of hacking.. not just hacking websites.. and infecting computers.. you can hack applications..

I hate people who drop un tradeables.
