Hackers on the run ?!

You have plenty of hackers these days and some of them are quite famous because of their acts.

The question I'm struggling with the question:"how did they not get caught yet?"
Okay I understand they use servers and bladibladibla.. but some of them hacked/downed website's from big companies or hacked personal information from celeb's.

the police/... must be hunting on them so hard but if the police really wants to get them they would catch them right ?

Make sure you understand that I'm not hoping to that those hackers are gonna get caught but I'm just curious.

Not a problem.

For any of you would be CC's I suggest not telling a soul about what you do, and obviously being overly cautious about your security. Tor, fully anonymous VPNs, offsite locations, even a disposable laptop you melt.

I doubt anyone here is that high profile, I'm certainly not.
 
They do their best not to leave a trace. Tends to catch up eventually though.
