Hello,

I was bored and was botting construction on my account and was thinking I will give you guys a guide on how to train construction.
I will tell you guys about a fast way to get 99 construction but very expensive, a medium fast way less expensive and a slow way what is even more less! And the way for using the payed bots.
So lets start ;) - Suicadra1337
This guide has been remade by Maxie he made it nicer and easyer to read, and he calculated some stuff.
Requirements
* Hammer
* Saw
* Planks, you will see how many :p.
* Nails, you will also see how many.
* A house
* Different servants

The Fast way to 99 Construction(Expensive about 200mil i think).

1-16
Head to Grand Exchange and buy 91 Planks and about 500 Iron Nails. Head to your house, the fastest way to get there is by using the "Teleport to house" option be sure to enter in Building mode, this can be set using the "Options" tab. Once you hit 16, buy the "Workshop" room, this will cost you 10,000 gp.

16 - 32
Here you will need 230 oak planks, you don't need nails to make what we are going to make here.
Teleport/walk to your house and walk into the Workshop room.
There use the workshop to create Pluming stands.
To this till you hit 32.

32 - 38
You will need to buy 238 Oak planks.
Now head to your workshop and make "Carved Oak Tables", till you hit 38. You will only need to create 39. But this will take some time though.

38 - 46
Buy 420 Teak Planks. Teleport to your house, walk into your workbench and start workin! xD
Make Teak Tables. This will take some time. You will need to create 105 of those.
Once you hit 46, you will have to replace your Workbench with a Steel Framed Workbench, to do this you will need 4 steel bars and 6 oak planks.

46 - 52
You will need to buy 558 Teak Planks and 372 Bolt of Cloth. Teleport to your house and get to your work Bench! ;)
Start making "Carved Teak Tables".

52 - 99
Buy 92220 Mahogany planks and start making Mahogany Tables at your workbench.
This will take about 26 hours to reach 99.

Medium fast way to 99 Construction(less Expensive around 80mil?).

32 - 99
This will take some time... xD.
Head to Grand Exchange and buy 216972 oak planks.
Get to your house and start making Carved Oak Tables. Once you used all your planks, you should be 99.

Slow way to 99 Construction(Cheapest around 20mil?).

16 - 33
Here you will need 260 oak planks, you don't need nails to make what we are going to make here.
Teleport/walk to your house and walk into the Workshop room.
There use the workshop to create Pluming stands.
To this till you hit 33.

33 - 99
Head to Grand Exchange and buy 650810 Limestone Brick's.
This part is reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaally boring. Yeah, long word does have an effect!
Make Stone Fireplace's till you hit 99. This will take some time. But if you are not botting, I recommend you to read my guide "How to deal with boredom on rs".

Bot way to 99 Construction(Think this is between the Medium and the Fast way speed and the price to Total around 207Mil ).

1 - 19
Buy 122 planks & about 200 - 300 nails in case some broke, else you need 122.
Now get to your house and make Crude Wooden Chairs.

19 - 33
Buy 238 oak planks.
Get to your house...
Make Oak Chairs. You'll need to make 119 Oak chairs :p.
Now go to your house and make Crude Wooden Chairs.

33 - 52
Buy 1760 oak planks.
Get to your house, probably by the teleport to house spell.
Make Oak Larders till you hit 52.

52 - 99
Buy/Get 92,220 Mahogany planks.
Get to your house and start botting Mahogany tables :p.

Tip1: As soon as you hit 20 head to ardy and buy a servant. You can use the servant to bring you planks (If I remember right), or he makes the planks for you in exchange of logs.
Tip2: I recommend you to switch servant as soon as possible (after levelling).

Tip3: Use a Sacred Clay hammer, this will decrease the cost a lot.

RE: [Guide]Construction Guide[Guide]

Maybe you can categories them a little bit better? Like cheap way: 1- 13 etc. Else it seems nice. 4/10.

Introduction to Construction:
Construction was released for members May, 31st, 2006. Construction allows players to build a Player-owned house (or POH) and provide the furnishings for them. Construction is regarded as one of the most expensive skills to train because of the materials needed for it. Construction is currently one of the fastest skills to train, depending on how much money a player is willing to spend. Construction is regarded by many players as a unique 99 skill that many players do not have, due to its high cost.

Other Information about Construction and Hi-scores:
Minimum level for Hi-scores 30, as of 01 March 2011.
Players with 99; 8,657, as of 28 February 2011.
Players with 200M experience; 9, as of 28 February 2011.

The Start:
To begin Construction, players must buy a house by paying one of the four Estate Agents found in cities all over RuneScape. A basic house will cost 1000 coins, and will be in Rimmington by default. As a player advances in construction, more house locations will be made available, as well as house styles. To change either of these, it is required to speak to the Estate Agent again who will charge a fee for changing either.

Estate Agent Locations:
Seers' Village, northeast of the bank.
Falador, west of the east bank.
Ardougne, west of the south bank.
Varrock, north of the east bank.

Building:
After you have purchased the starter house, you will want to go to the Grand Exchange and buy. At least 1000 teleport to house tabs, 1000 steel nails, hammer, saw and planks.

Once you have your house tabs, nails, saw, hammer and planks, put them all in your inventory and teleport to you house and switch on building mode. Go into your parlor (the only room you have) and start making crude wooden chairs.

Levels 1-8 - Crude Wooden Chairs
Crude_wooden_chair.png

You will need to make 14 crude wooden chairs requiring 28 planks and your nails.

Levels 8-14 - Wooden Chairs
Wooden_chair.png

You will be required to make 16 wooden chairs, needing 48 planks and your nails.

Levels 14-19 - Rocking Chairs
Rocking_chair.png

You need to make 22 rocking chairs, needing 66 planks and your nails.

Levels 18-22 - Oak Chairs
Oak_chair.png

You need to make 14 oak chairs, needing 28 oak planks.

Firstly make a Dining Room that costs 5,000gp.
Levels 22-26 - Oak Dining Tables
Oak_table.png

You need to make 13 oak dining tables, requiring 52 oak planks.

At Level 26 you can make a Rope bell-pull.
Rope_bell_pull.png

Requires 1 oak plank and 1 rope.
A rope bell-pull allows you to summon a servant to the room if you cannot find him.

Different servants need different construction levels and they provide different services, such as greeting guests, serving food, and taking items to and from bank and unnoting items. The higher the servant's level, the better and faster the quality of their services is, but the more they cost.

After you make your rope bell-pull you will wan tot get a servant from The Servant's Guild, which can be found in East Ardougne. The Servant's Guild is a place where you can hire different servants for your house. When entered you can talk to the chief servant and he will ask you if you want to hire a servant. When hired they will charge you with an amount of coins and for each 8 bankings. Also if you want a servant, you need at least 2 bedrooms in your house with a bed in each room. Your servant will take automatically the second best room in the house.

The servant's guild is located to the north of the Ardougne marketplace. It's easy to reach by just teleporting to Ardougne and then walking north.
Servant.png

You can hire a Servant according to these statistics:
Person Construction Level Salary Maximum number of carried items
Rick 20 500gp 6
Maid 25 1,000gp 10
Cook 30 3,000gp 16
Butler 40 5,000gp 20
Demon butler 50 10,000gp 26

A servant would not be recommended till level 30, 40, or 50 construction.

Level 26-30 Oak Dining Tables
Oak_table.png

From 26-30 you need to make 19 oak dining tables, needing 76 oak planks.

At level 30 you will want to make two bedrooms. One for you and one for your servant if you plan on buying one. If you are not buying one now it's better to have this done now then later.

A bedroom costs 10,000 coins each. So bring 20,000gp and make 2. All you need to do is build a bed in each.
Oak_bed.gif

You need 6 oak planks and 4 bolts of cloth.

Level 30-33 Oak Dining Tables
Oak_table.png

From 30-33 you need to make 19 oak tables, needing 76 oak planks.

Once you reach 50 construction go back to one of the real estate agents and switch you house location to yannille. This will cost 25,000gp but you can run from the bank to your house instead of tele tabbing.

Now you need to make a kitchen costing you 5,000gp.
Level 33-74 Oak Larders
Oak_larder.png

You will need to make 2,246 oak larders, needing 17,968 oak planks.

Level 74-99 Oak Dungeon Doors
Oak_door.gif

You will need to make 19,897 oak dungeon doors, needing 198,970 oak planks.

Total amount of cash used in this guide:
Normal Planks: 146*288 = 42,048gp
Oak Planks: 217,183*516 = 112,066,428gp
Bolt of Cloth: 8*1287 = 10,296gp
Rope: 1*95 = 95gp
Teleport to House Tabs: 1,000*829 = 829,000gp
Teleport to Falador Tabs: 1,000*863 = 863,000gp
Servant: I can not determine price for your servant as I do not know how often you used him.
Total: 113,810,867gp
All prices are based off Grand Exchange March 2nd 2011.

As you can see construction is expensive and this is fastest and cheapest way to 99.

Go get that cape:

It was posted here, but then got moved to the Writers section. But you can rip from this and make it better since eventually i'll create my complete Construction guide.

I never knew Construction could be so cheap. I'm actually tempted to start...

Thank's. I'm going to give this guide a try soon. I'll be doing the fast way, and the 200m it cost that's the current cost right now right?

I don't see anything about oak larders in here? oak larders>oak tables.

I wish I had the patience for the cheap 20m 99 construction method lol.

I don't see the appeal in 99 construction..If i ever have a spare 200m lying around i'll get it. But for now i'll just keep my goal of 61-70 or 75.

Suic, mind if I re-write this guide & post it? I will give you 100 % credits. I can even PM you the code for it.
