GTA V

My level 47 character got deleted, along with the $1 million I had. I'm a little mad, but I think it's a fun game when it works.
 
My Character got deleted twice kinda pissed. Overall though the Online is extremely fun.
 
What is the reason for your players to be deleted? Modding or is the game just glitching?

Its just an issue with the cloud server. It deleted tons of people's characters.
 
I still got my player LV50 got the Bugatti, Enfinite( probably spelled wrong) , and about to buy the Cheetah, also got the most expensive house, ik how to avoid from my character getting deleted .

Ahh I see, I would think the server problems would be fixed by now, it's been basically a week. :/

It started happening yesterday when the update came out.

Well hopefully it doesn't happen anymore, because that is how a game loses players.

Your character only gets deleted if you go online while the servers are down, I do but i found a way to prevent it from getting deleted. You do a mission before you get off then go to single player, then you can dashboard and it wont get deleted.

All I did was quit online, then go back to online and it said to make a new character.

Yea but i always do that so mine never deletes i make sure
 
Basically when the servers are down, DON'T create a temporary character. It tells you everything you do won't be saved. I think people go ahead and play and rank up and when their character gets deleted they wonder why. I got my character back successfully by just going back to campaign and then dashboarding, it autosaves. The only thing I dont like about the game online is that it seems like no one is using the map, we all gun around one main building and no one is getting in vehicles or jets. Maybe everyone is just adjusting to online but another thing i didnt like is how each time I want to quit on deathmatch and go to the other I have to leave the entire deathmatch online, wait for the thing to zoom out, and then go back to regular online pull my phone out and hope I get into a team deathmatch.

Now I guess I have to wait. I haven't played online for like 2 days now.
