Sorry if this doesn't help but I am a ps3 modder (I own RMzModShop.com) honestly it does depend on who mods your account based of what tool is used, what anti ban precautions they use, if they use a modded eboot or self (not good to use they just extend the time before the account gets banned and doesn't actually prevent the ban) I have modded many accounts on GTAV With RP giving level 999 from level 3 and giving $1mil - $1bil only got 1 account banned and it was my own account to test something new, I use my own anti ban methods that never seem to get patched so I don't release them so I am able to provide services for users where there purchases actually last if you were talking about Xbox im sorry but I only know ps3 lol, if you have any other questions please let me know

im sure it's only down to the person that does it for you, good luck finding out because I need to know this.
The above being said, modding comes with consequences .. not being a know it all, just common sense, if you have spare console IDS and don't mind throwing it in peoples faces, go for it, if scarce on the IDS, lay low, edit your RP; just don't make things are obvious as some do, walking around as a dog, changing models, explosive bullets etc ..
