I heard that in his lobbies your character got corrupted and you had to delete it

He gave me 6 billion last night and level 385 or something, he did a recovery, logged into my account and shit.

Everything went smooth, and that was just last night too.

I don't know where you heard that from, but it didn't happen for me.
 
I'm pretty sure people do the bounty and dns server way and they or you will be banned. There's only a few people like chr0me myself and some others who know the way where you don't get banned
 
Possible to get level 200 and a few bill on GTA Online? I am told it has been patched.
