Growing Personal Account (IG)

Hi I am trying to get more active followers on my personal account.

I have my irl name on IG and that alone has gained me around 500 followers per month, but most of them aren't active, and I was wondering what to do to gain more actives.

Questions:
Private or public account?
Own pics or from tumblr
how to keep a feed w own pics
how to make followers active

Not looking to make a sports page. Just need to figure out what is the best configuration for gaining followers on a personal.

i've been trying to grow the same thing.

i had 700 followers and i deleted 600 of them as they werent active.

make it a private account, don't over-use tumblr pics, try and explore your city, try and kill the inactive ones with igexorcist
