What exactly are the Pros and Cons of being in a group on FK?

Pros
-you are able to post in exclusive sub-forums.
-private marketplaces
-reputation
-buddies


Cons
-sometimes inactivity
-when group gets sold, you most likely get kicked
-drama
-buy-ins
-groups get sold almost as instantly as they are bought
-monopolists
 
Groups are good and all for making friends but there is a lot of drama that goes on like doxing, swatting and stuff that I think you would be happiest not being in one.

lol, doxing, swatting.. that's every forum no matter what. You have the "internet" thugs.
 
I completely agree with @Poison on this one. Overall, being in a group is definitely a good thing.
 
I'll give you one of the major cons:

Very few groups owner manage to keep their groups for even two months.

Good luck with not only finding a group that fits you, but a group that also has a dedicated owner.

There is one issue that someone could complain about as well. I forgot to include that in my list, but very well-spoken @Jason I agree fully.

I wish I could have my own group, but I don't have money yet for that, and I wouldn't leave, nor have a buy in. I do not see a point in buy-ins.
 
I'm probably going to look to join a dedicated group soon once I get " Known" or have a good reputation on here. For now im riding solooooooo

I've been in infinite for about a year.

Someone above said something about doxing due to being in groups, not sure what the hell they're talking about. Groups haven't caused any issue for me, and I've been in quite a few. The only groups worth a shit right now are Infinite, Legend, and Voodoo, hopefully this will change.

The pros would be activity, building friendships, and having a good time. The cons would be the fact that only 3 groups are worthwhile, and they're fairly similar in theory. I want niche groups around FK, but it'll never happen.
