JUNK: Greatest video ever.

@"Adam" I never said anything about myself being important. LOL. Please read more carefully next time. Oh and stop posting on my thread please.

Arrogant does not only mean you think you are important. It can mean you think you have more ability than you actually do. You display this attribute on a regular basis.

Please quit posting in my thread.

I'm having a discussion with you. Just because you do not agree with what I am saying does not mean you should banish me from this thread. I have not banned you even though I do not agree with you nor like you. I would appreciate it if you could stop being so cold towards the members of this forum. By the way, Glen established a rule a while back stating that if a member said they were leaving they would be permanently banned. You made a thread a couple of days ago stating you were leaving once you sold your items. From the kindness of my heart I let it slide and did not ban you. If you keep up this nonsense I will have no choice but to permanently ban you.

@"Adam"
I think I know this situation enough, and you enough to post this:

@OP

I don't know if any of you were right on this video.

I can see this video being posted in a school as a video announcement from students (or something). I watched this looking for a deeper meaning. (or its just my personal idiotic thoughts clouding what you might think is stupidity already
)

What I got from this, is what is said at the very end of the video.

"I will not let an exam result decide my fate..."

Throughout what was said in the video, I came to the conclusion that you simply shouldn't give up. All the people that he listed became who they are by working hard for what they believe in. Whether or not they had an education didn't matter. All teachers (well, the ones I've had), and even my dad, have said in some sort of way that: "no matter what hand life gives you, you have to keep playing to win".

School, in my opinion, is all about proving yourself to the world. That is the exact reason 'tests' are called 'tests' in the first place. It's not about knowing everything...(Though college is a different story in some situations)

Yes, some people made it in the world without an education. But those are SOME PEOPLE. How many people in total can you count that made it big without an education? 10? 20? Maybe 30? Now, ask yourself how many people are in this world? ~4 Billion+? (Guesstimate)
If you think your special, and your one of the 10-30 people out of 4 Billion on this planet, go ahead and go do your work! But remember, when you come crying back saying that you didn't make it, you'll be cooking up your dreams with a side of fries at a nearby McDonalds.
Now, if you don't think your special, you can prove yourself to the world that you can possibly be something special and get through the hell that everybody knows, school.

Now that I'm done saying my piece to this thread, I'm going to go take this piss I've been holding for the past 10 minutes while trying to wittingly type this damn thing.

You can't just ignore reality and think that just because you have a dream, you can drop out of school to pursue it. He gives examples of 0.0000001% of the population that became successful, but all those examples are terrible. Half of them he said were consider geniuses and then the other half were people who thought of an innovative idea. I am not going to go a find sources, but it is extremely obvious that people with a college degree are more successful than those without. Is it really worth it to take a gamble where the odds are immensely against you? You have to step into reality and realize that this is how society has been setup.

Missed the point of the video, still.

We got the point of the video and we're calling it out. What the video is saying is not true.

The part "I'll not let an exam decide my fate" is true in some way.
And I'll ask you something, who would you hire? Someone with a degree, or someone without a degree?
And what that dude opinion is "I hate school, but love education" and in the video he's giving arguments and trying to prove his point, which is also the one of the video.
