Yeah. My exams aren't for another 2 weeks but after tonight I am officially finished scool. University next year. Can't wait. I felt like I deserved a thread all to myself.

Oh, and I hit 400 posts earlier
 
Junior year is 11th grade in the US. We have names for each HS and College years.

What age are you in 11th grade. I'm 18.

In Ireland you do 8 years of primary school and then 6 years of secondary school before going to university
 
I'm 17 at the moment. Birthday is in May. We have 8 years of elementary school along with middle school. Then 4 years of high school and 4 years of college(depending on your career of course).

Ahhh. I see. And all the way along they are called grades?
 
Yes. 1-8 grade. Then high school. 9th grade is called freshman, 10th is sophomore, 11th is Junior, 12 and final year of high school is called Senior. Along with college.
 
I never understood the whole "sophomore" and shit, lol.

The only term out of those we use in the UK is Freshman. And thats just for Freshers week. (Notorious for scoring 18 year old gash)

Yah freshman is used here too. And freshers week
 
So it's a hazing thing? Nice. Love taht. My freshman year was great, I was all friends with upperclassmen and I never got picked on.
