Got a pickup

Okay, so here's my story... Well when my dad was a kid, his parents got divorced.. And when my grandpa would come see my dad, he would only take my uncle and not him..Because my uncle was the oldest. Well, that affected me, because my dad, strongly dislikes my grandpa, so i've only seen him about 5 times in my life.. Well i'm at my moms house, so she told me i should come and see them.. And they're actually pretty chill.

Okay, so today, my grandpa gave me a 73 ford f250 camper special, that's green. The truck is in really, really good condition on the outside, but the interior (Seats) need a little bit of work.. And the engine is kinda weak because it has tons of miles on it.. I will be posting pics tomorrow, but i just want to know what you guys think..

Same. I live in the city, but my grandpa is a farmer.. so i am stuck with it.. And i actually like it
 
I personally hate pickups, lol
but nice of him to give it to you, besides it's better than not having a car at all

True, i have around 900 dollars in my bank account, and my dad said hes not buying me a car or truck.. So his dad (That he dislikes) gave me one. And im going to use that money to fix it up.

Sounds like you have a good plan going. I am a truck person myself so it was very nice of him to give it to you i wish i had a family member to give me a truck.
 
Saab's are ugly, ha. A pickup is better than no vehicle. Congratulations.

Thanks, i really like it.. I've been driving it around the country all day in the back roads.. Hope i don't get caught.
 
Steps to making a truck a true truck (weather it is rusty, 2 or 4 wd, short or long bed)
Step 1:buy the biggest tires they sell for the rim
Step 2: buy a suspension / body lift (no less then 6")
Step 3: put "GET ER DONE" stickers on it
Step 4: Cut off the exhaust from the headers back (straight pipe if willing to do the extra work)
Step 5: Buy A Truckers Cap
Step 6: Drive around witha gob of chewing tobacco and a southern accent

Congradulations you are now a owner of a "truck"
but in all seriousness im waiting on cadillac to come out with a long bed excallade pick up, im putting 40" tires, 35" rims, 8 inch suspension lift, and a loud ass exhaust.... Never really seen any caddy jacked up ike that and think it would be a creative first =)

Well yeah I wouldn't mind a nice car, I got a 80 Camaro but trucks are always nice so you can throw whatever you need in the back n shit
