Giving Reputation

I'm not fully aware of the guide lines of giving positive rep and negative rep, and how much rep you can give away a day vice versa. Could someone please fill me in? It will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

the max a RGelite can give is 3 a day, i think normal members can only do 1 and mods+ can give 4 if im not mistaken
