Since a lot of the people here cannot comprehend the difference between Gender and Sex, I thought I'd explain it to you.
Thank you to whoever posted the thread on Caitlyn Jenner thread, so that I could witness all the idiotic transphobic people.

Gender is not the same as sex. Yes, that is correct.
While your sex may be male, your gender may be female. Now I know that your small brains are already bursting and you're about ready to flame me saying that it isn't true.
Let's take a trip to the dictionary, shall we?

gen·der
ˈjendər/Submit
noun
1.
the state of being male or female (typically used with reference to social and cultural differences rather than biological ones).

Did you catch that last part? Let me repeat it.
typically used with reference to social and cultural differences rather than biological ones.

Now already my point is proven. Typically used in reference to social and cultural differences rather than biological ones.
I can't believe some of you don't understand that by now.
Still aren't convinced? Let's look at the definition for Sex.

sex
seks/Submit
noun
2.
either of the two main categories (male and female) into which humans and many other living things are divided on the basis of their reproductive functions.

Humans are divided into the two main sexes, on the basis of which set of reproductive organs they possess.

This means that calling Caitlyn Jenner anything other than female is incorrect.
She identifies as a female now, that is her gender.
Her sex is male, because she cannot bear children, but her gender is female.

Understand?
Sorry if this is in the wrong section, it seemed to be the most fitting.

THANK YOU FOR THIS POST. I believe that everybody needs to learn the difference.

So many ignorant people here, clearly uneducated.
Yet they still think they're right, huh, funny how that works.

You're about to start something that you will wish you haven't.

That thread only asked for opinions? No one really cares about this shit.

You are about to start a grammar war, I hope you know what you are doing Yosemite.. LOL

Even if it's opinions, referring to Caitlyn Jenner as anything but female is incorrect.
A lot of people didn't quite understand that gender and sex are different things, so this is for them

Born a man, die a man.
@Gunnar, @Jason, and @Cas

You're born whatever you should be your entire life, this group of special snowflakes are reversing millions of years of evolution with their silly procedures to be different, like @Jamil said,

Born a man, die a man.
Born a woman, die a women.

Why would you even want to be the inferior gender anyway?

I'm sure you'd want to change if you felt so uncomfortable in your own body.
Also, thank you for being one of the many assholes that are the reason so many transgendered people are so depressed, and part of the reason that transgendered people kill themselves.

@Yosemite, was this group of people around back in the 1800s or even back in the 50's? No, because social media wasn't around saying it was ok.

A man killed himself because his mom unplugged his xbox. Your point?

Actually, yes. They were!
Congratulations, not only are you incapable of understanding others issues, you are unable to do ANY research!
Prior to any contact with western society, the Native Americans had "third-gender" roles. "Berdaches" was a common derogatory term for people that were born males that assumed female roles.

Lucy Ann Lobdell (born 1829) lived as a man under the name Joseph Lobdell for 36 years, and even married a woman.

During the '50s and '60s, the first transgender organizations and publications were starting to appear, although law and medicine did not respond favorably to the growing awareness of the Transgendered people.

Implying your IQ is in the triple digits, try again champ.
Please stop talking out of your ass before you try to make claims supporting your argument that are simply not true.

@"Jamil", did we see people killing themselves or causing major damage to themselves/others due to being disciplined in the 1800s? How about in the 1950s? We didn't, because children actually respected their parents and obeyed the rules of the household rather than nowadays where it's common for children to be rude and possibly resent the one that carried them around for nine months and are literally the reason they

Well I know you're extremely uncomfortable in your body, I'd be; but unfortunately we don't see you getting a change.

I admire what you're doing but trying to educate the ignorant is like breaking the wall of china with your fists.

@Jamil said, born a man, die a man; then again I doubt you know about things like that.

@Krish chill it's too early for you too be spitting fire on these mixtapes. LOL
