GearScape - Alpha Development Topic [Must Try!]

Gearscape is an all new private server. We aim to have some of the loved aspects of Runescape, while being original. Training, earning money, and travelling will be a little bit faster than Runescape; however it will still be worth something. We have that perfect balance of challenge & ease, that every Runescape player craves. We won't baby you, nor will we make you want to rip your hair out with the challenges, just the perfect amount of both.

Along with that, we will fix some of the mistakes Jagex has made. And, if you suggest something YOU WILL BE LISTENED TO. We care what you have to say, and do our best to get to every suggestion. The bigger the playerbase, the more work it takes, but we will do our best.

The staff is filled with people who are doing this out of love of private servers. Not to make money, not to get popular, not to be 1337 (even though we are.. right? ), or anything else. Just to give you a fun place to hang out.

How To Join:
Download Hamachi (temporary, only for Alpha)

Get the unmanaged, and then install it. Click Join a new network, under the Network tab.

If you've seen some of my threads, im really into rsps's. I've administered plenty, I'm down for this idea. Make the exp rate 175-250 per hit, maybe slower. But yeah we'd need some money for a vps etc. Pm me if you ever get this server started.

I have a source that we could use. We'd need to change some things though and maybe fix some models.

I also have a source. We'd need to compare them I guess, and see which one is best. I'd prefer to use mine, as I know it has what I want, but we can definitely give yours a look.

I could make the client based work. I am not the best coder, but I am pretty good with clients. Though, I haven't done so much 317 clients. But I can learn while we make this.

I say that this idea is fantastic, however don't try to get 100% runescape, it won't end good.
Btw, Iv'e seen a client that Maxie done before, his one of the most epic clients programmers that Iv'e seen for a very long time, and I am talking as a coder.

It is now 3 lol i bring 2 with me 9 years of coding experience in total.

Okay, awesome! This is going to happen guys. We've got some real pros on the team. And, we won't be 100% Runescape. It will have the Runescape feel, the adventure, the challenge, as well as being more rewarding & we listen to your suggestions. And easier, more rewarding, more fun, Runescape.

We're calling it GearScape.
