Gaming Monitors/Keyboard/Mouse

I have around 1000 to spend on some computer shit. I got my computer last year, so I don't need that.
All I need is a monitor (preferably 2), and a keyboard and mouse. I don't know much about PC gaming, so can you guys help me out with some good keyboards/mouse/monitors.

Any help is appreciated
 
Well, I have a Razer BlackWidow keyboard (Mechanical, FTW) and a Logitech G9 mouse, I love this keyboard/mouse duo. I have an Acer S231HL and absolutely love its 2ms response, but I am sure you can get a better monitor. I also have a Samsung monitor (SyncMastern B2330), which is good.

Honestly though, I would recommend getting a new graphics card, if you don't have a top of a line one.

Do you mind posting specs of your PC?

Thanks so much bro. That monitor looks sexy, and its relatively cheap so I might end up getting that, but anyone else got any other monitor ideas? And my Graphics Card is the Nvidia GeForce GT 430.. not sure whether that's good or not haha.

I was thinking of getting this keyboard haha, it costs a shit ton but looks good. Making my setup look good is really important to me aswell. Would it be worth it?

That is not the best, I would recommend the GTX 680 or 670 (It is cheaper and has a very similar performance). Can you please post up your motherboard, power supply wattage, etc... to see if your system can handle a GTX 680.

My dad actually wants that one. Honestly, the LCD screen is a bit buggy, and not worth it imho. I would recommend a different keyboard from Razer. Also, check out: http://steelseries.com/ for great mice.

I'm not sure how to do that haha. Sound like my nan when she's trying to use her computer haha. If it helps my PC runs GTA IV, GTA San Andreas, CoD4 and Truck Simulator (actually a really good game haha) on the highest settings..

And yeah, I've watched a couple of reviews on that keyboard and YouTube and the reactions have been mixed. I'll look on Steelseries/Razor for better keyboards.
 
Like Nite said about the Graphics card, it's not the best for high intense gaming but it's okay. I currently have a GT 430 and works like a charm for me. Also with the monitor, you could get 2 of these, yes I know it's an Aussie site, but gives you an idea I guess.
