Gamertag Questions...

I have a few questions about gamertags over the past few days about the stuff being sold in the marketplace.

1. If you jack a gamertag, and it's almost obvious there going to get it back, but you recover it on your xbox, will your xbox get console banned?

2. Is there anyway to secure the gamertag once you have it? Say if it isn't 10 years, could you swap the tag and get the tag on a new account and keep it?

3. What is the chance they will get the tag back if they call it in?

If you swap it it still has the chance of getting taken back, doesn't really help too much hah

Thought so, but what if you jack it, then complain about it being jacked (acting like the OG owner), is there anyway you could somehow keep it after doing that? Or what is the process they do to verify if its the OG owner?

Actually If you swap it an don't recover it, you can keep it. You just have to wait awhile before recovering it so yea if you swap it does help an no you can not act like the og owner because if they call it in an you were the last recovery they will most Likely get it back an you will most likely get console banned ..

If you swap it and don't recover it your chance will get lower of keeping it. Because they will say w e they call it breach in access and say the Gt was changed and they will get it back.

Ok ok, so what is the best way to keep a GT you jack? There really is none is there? :/ Well, this is, if were taking the GT of someone who's active...

If there active and have console Id and serial number that's the tag is linked to none sorry

What do you mean the tag is linked to none if they have a console id and serial?

If its there original tag and are active on it after 30 days of a tag being made and it being on your Xbox it will have a console id and console serial number linked to it there's no way they want be able to get it back believe me this happened to me once and I got my tag right back

Wow, that is so stupid(but smart)... I just hope the GT's I try aren't smart enough to call xbox lol...
