Gamertag question:

So i've had this GT for about a month and just recently was it "hacked." My real question is how? I signed in as usual and the WHOLE account was reset: username and everything. The account, though, seemed untouched. How is this? How was my GT and achievements removed and cleared? Even the gamerpic is different. It almost seems as if i made a new silver account. It has one of those random account names like SlipperyVest296. Sorry if this is a dumb question but im new to the GT market as i was a psn user. I am extremely pissed as it was a decent gt. (Not squirter XD)

They swapped it to a new email likely, sucks it happened.

I think could've been UAd and u didn't know or maybe some1 had ur info and changed the gamertag linked to your email so ur account exists but it linked to a different email and the new email they put didn't have a gt so it created a new profile. It's happened to me before I was pissed

Basically what Lil B just said. They swapped your microsoft info, and it just made a new account linked to that email. Try to invite the tag into a private chat, everything will probably look the same on it.
