RE: f*ck Religion

Can't watch video, I'm from phone. I'll get the link when I try to quote.

But right now I'll say that the real cancer of hummanity was money.

Couldn't agree more, but is there another way the world could operate? It's too late to change things now, only a world catastrophe could possibly change things IMO.

RE: f*ck Religion

I don't think religion is, but people are. Religion gives people hope. If you use religion for some other reason like manipulating people, attacking people, etc....then well....you got something wrong with you.

*Cough*

RE: f*ck Religion

And that helps prove my point. Those people use the excuse of religion. Their religion definitely doesn't say to kill people or fight with people that don't have the same beliefs. People kill people. This is just like people saying guns kill when in fact the people using the guns kill.

I enjoy conversations like this because they make you think.

RE: f*ck Religion

Actually it does. I'm not sure what passage in the bible it is but "God" order Moses to have the people stone someone to death who worked on the Sabbath.

RE: f*ck Religion

That is a story in the Bible. Not a command of what people who follow the Bible must do. Apparently, this was the first public offense against the newly revealed law of God. It was, essentially, being tested. Therefore, the severity of the punishment was to demonstrate to all of Israel the necessity of obeying the Law of God.

Edit: Also, I don't know what your statement had to do with my previous statement. When I said "their religion" I was talking about Islam since you put a picture about 9/11....Islamic extremists which is completely different from normal people of that faith.

RE: f*ck Religion

There are no "religious extremists". They just interpret the bible different from other people. The Westboro church(the church in the video) is doing exactly what it says in the bible. Christians just interpret it differently.

RE: f*ck Religion

Al-Qaeda didn't do the 9/11 attack because of religion. They did it because they were in war with the US. And it wasn't a religious war.

Al-Qaeda the organisation didn't do it, but those who hijacked the planes did it in the name of God, so yes, religion did cause the attacks. Otherwise, it wouldn't have ever worked since Al-Qaedas only influence was to brainwash with "God".

Also:
9.123 “O you who believe! fight those of the unbelievers who are near to you”

"Seek out your enemies relentlessly." (Surah 4:103-)

"Fighting is obligatory for you, much as you dislike it." (Surah 2:216)

Must I go on? All religions are a cancer to humanity.

RE: f*ck Religion

You should have enough common sense to filter out the bad and take the good. People that can't do that are giving religion a bad name.

Religion is based on following and obeying everything the Bible says. You cannot filter out the bad and only do the good. If you do, you are sinning, therefore going to Hell.

RE: f*ck Religion

That's not what I believe. And also why do you keep saying bible when referring to religion. There is more than just one religion, and who is to say which one is right. I'm a Christian, but people can believe whatever they want.

RE: f*ck Religion

Turns out that not every religion obeys the bible, some disobey it deliberately because they don't follow the words of the 'bible'.

Anyone and everyone is entitled to believe in what they want, don't discriminate in what people believe in. Just because you are entitled to your own opinion doesn't mean you can totally talk shit or talk down on a religion or something somebody has faith in.

I only believe in religion because I like the thought of thinking my parents and family member will go to heaven, not just rot in graves.

RE: f*ck Religion

All the books are the same shit.

RE: f*ck Religion

Either way, like the person said above me. I don't hate against the beliefs of others. If you are Muslim or Hindu, etc...that is fine. If you don't believe in a God that is fine too. I'm not going to tell you that you are going to go to Hell or whatever. I'm happy with my life and with what I believe, you should do whatever makes you happy as well. But don't ever think you are better than someone else because of what they believe versus what you believe.

No reason to hate on others because they believe differently. Isn't that what Atheists always say? Something like "Christians shove their religion down other people's throats and condemn you to Hell if you don't believe the same as them." No need to be a hypocrite and hate on people of faith.

RE: f*ck Religion

I was just really pissed off after watching the video I posted
