Friday discounted upgrade days?

Considering doing something named something like that. Perhaps ever Friday I offer 20 dollar onyx upgrades. But only on Friday, but every Friday. Idk its something I just thought of. Opinions?
 
It's a good idea but people would just wait til Friday to upgrade and you'd probably lose out in the long term. Maybe like the 15th of each month or something is more reasonable.

Not necessarily. Most people that upgrade want it now, rather than having to wait for it later. Alot of people having saving issues, and would just spend the money before Friday, and not end up upgrading. I honestly think it would be the same. But I honestly don't know. I like the whole 15th thing though. Hmm

Making it a random friday out of each month is better that way people don't just wait till the end of the week to upgrade just because it will be cheaper.
 
Or have a Upgrade Poop Friday! Every Friday, a user named Poop, or with Poop in their name gets a free upgrade! Just a thought though

From an economical standpoint this is a very bad idea. This is not a half price drink sonic drive-thru special; this is a business where everyone would just wait till Friday to get Onyx. The question you have to ask yourself is (from the consumers point-of-view), "Why wouldn't I wait till Friday to get $5 off of Onyx?" You would just be losing profit, because if people want Onyx that bad they will wait. Honestly I don't think you would see much of difference of total purchases if you did a $20 Friday special. All it will do is calculate to profit loss. Just to make myself clear I'm not trying to be "snotty" with you Philly I'm just trying to help you out. Either way it is your choice, and I wish you the best of luck!
 
Do it 1 random friday each month that way you have to be active on the forum to know when it will be = deserving of a discount for onyx
 
its a pretty good idea. it would be nice to see some more upgraders and donators.
