I'm working on it. Deleted tags it does not recognize, banned tags it does however.

I understand what you mean, thank you for your effort in making a program to check for gamer tags. The reason why you will not be able to see it on the status and if you use it it's taken only means that the gamer tag have a previous owner that had asked us to delete them, since we do not recycle gamer tags the players are assured that their identities were not reused for any schemes that may ruin other players.
I'm updating this now. However the fix will provide some false positives. On accounts that don't have Xbox live profiles.

EDIT: Also this does recognize banned gamertags. It doesn't however recognize accounts that have had their xbox profiles deleted or haven't played xbox at least once.
Hello forumkorner! I recently spent the past few days coding this Gamertag checker!
How to Use
Basically all you need is a wordlist. Download a wordlist and open it with the browse button. Then click add. And then start! Then sit back and wait for your OG Gamertags!
Think of all the endless OG Gamertags you'll find! PM Me for the Password if you want it!

Copy/Paste Your Gamertags (Making sure 1 GT is on 1 line)
File -> Save As...
Select "All Files" from the drop down
Rename ".txt" to ".lst" in name box

This shouldn't happen. Hopefully this new update fixes all of these issues.
Q: Does this require me to login to Xbox.com? I'm worried you might steal my Password.
A: No it does not and I do not want your password to the Gamertag: "xxCODxGODxx"

Add List and Custom Gamertag filtering so that anything that isn't allowed by Microsoft won't be allowed in the Checker
