well try persuading them that you'll do lots of chores or something if you don't work a job or intrigue them with a lot of the neat programs they run on there such as the discovery channel, fox8 or my personal fave; sci-fi channel DD

we do that with telstra bigpond,

for like $150 a month, we get 25gb internet downloads like 1mb/sec
all channels for foxtel IQ.

Not sure what it is for phone but its good.
