Forums is slow

The forums is really slow. I know it is not my internet because I browse other forums fast.

I think we are under a attack or need better hosting.
 
The forums are slow, because there are a lot of users using the forum at the moment. I've noticed it too. We just need something faster and something which can handle more users, I'm sure The Elite is already on it.

I'm not sure where the server that we're hosted on is located, but I definitely know speed has dropped in the past two days, I can tell from when I visited before pages would load in 2-3 seconds, now it's more like 4-5 seconds. Still not unbearably slow, but slower than usual.
 
I live in USA how about you?
 
I'm in the UK, England. I'm guessing The Elite hosts the site on shared hosting so it's likely to be hosted in the USA, therefore your speeds would generally be better.
 
I'm located in the US and getting slow connection times too.

So can't be that.

I don't know then, but I'm sure that the increased activity has put additional strain on the servers meaning slower loading times for everybody. We'll just have to wait and see what TE has to say on this one.
 
I'm only having slow times when trying to send a post, just browsing it loads fine for me
 
I'd assume it's because of all the traffic RuneGear's been having lately. It's not a bad thing, the speed hasn't drastically been reduced.

Yea I live in USA and some times pages don't even load. I think we need a server upgrade to.

Well,
for me sometimes they do not load at all. I find it somewhat annoying. But I understand with the new flow of members and everything it will be like this for a little while until we get new hosting.
 
Maybe a second delay for me but Thats nothing
As long as it doesnt make you wait 5 seconds or w.e per page its fine

And TE changed servers since last one didnt like the hacking section

To add to this, when posting I'm frequently getting an MySQL error too. Not all the time. Nothing major as my post does submit, but I still get the error. I will grab the error and paste it here next time I get it.
