This is a vote for off site dedicated IRC chat,

IRC bar should be added in between member list and help on top pane.

No, heres what people are missing

People will still post...think about it

People dont go on IRC to discuss major topics, etc, i mean they might try to enhance it, but most of the traffic will always come to the forum (unless there really basic questions).

I.E. If i am selling an ebook, i wouldnt JUST go to IRC and advertise it, i would obviously post a thread, and then maybe link it in IRC, but the post would still be there.
