Salutations, members of ForumKorner. In this thread the FK News Team will be recruiting writers to be apart of the team to write a weekly edition of the FK News.​

Available positions:​
• Music & Media
• Graphics​

What do these roles do?​
1) The member doing music & media has two jobs. They must post about the latest and upcoming music, information about artists, etc. They must also post information about media, such as the latest shows and movies, comics, etc.​

2) The graphical writer must create content regarding graphics, obviously. Hand pick some graphics from the Graphics Showcase section that would be showcased in your article. Tips and tricks, free downloads and tutorials, etc.​

Requirements​
• General knowledge of chosen topic
• Impeccable grammar and punctuation
• Able to hand in weekly articles with no problems​

The winners will be private messaged personally and we will not conduct the winner in front of everybody. We will message you if you have failed. Put time and effort into your application even though it may be small, quality over quantity.​
 



Introduction
I would love to apply for the Music and Media position, considering I am going to major in percussion and minor in film production. The FK News is something that I have consistently desired to be a part of, and this new position seems like the perfect fit for me. Please consider this application, Michael.

I am currently 16 years old.

Timezone/Location?
I live in Chicago, which is on Central Standard Time

Do you have any past experience with writing articles?
I used to write news articles for my school, so I have some experience. Writing is something that I do for fun, so I would love to have a purpose to writing. This may sound corny, but I write fake news articles all the time. They usually involve myself either becoming president or catching a serial killer. I am quite interested in journalism.

Graphics or Media & Music?
Media & Music, of course. I sort of explained why in the introduction.

Do you meet the above requirements?
Yes, I do.

Are you able to hand in a legible article weekly?
Unless I'm having an abnormally busy week, I should be able to have an article ready each week. I will make the FK news a priority over other activities such as gaming or even school work if it comes down to it. If I make the team, I will be as dedicated as possible.

Thanks for the consideration, Michael. If I am not chosen for this spot, I would like to apply to any other spots that become open in the future. I would love to become a part of the FK news, and feel like I would be well suited as a member of the team. Good luck to all other applicants.

Do you have any past experience with writing articles? Yes, I write very well in school. I also have proficient grammar and punctuation.
Graphics or Media & Music? I chose Media & Music because I am very in-tune to music and artist news. I also listen to all types of music including; Rap/Hip-Hop, Pop, Electronic, Dubstep, Country, Christian Music, Rock, and many more.
Do you meet the above requirements? Yes, I do meet each and every requirement. I know plenty about Music & Media as well as I have very god grammar/punctuation. I will also be able to submit an article every week.
Are you able to hand in a legible article weekly? Yes, I have plenty of time to dedicate to The FK News. I have a lot of free time where I can use to be a part of The FK News.

Do you have any past experience with writing articles? A little bit. My English papers are really similar because I'm in Film Literacy.

Do you have any past experience with writing articles? A bit, not huge amounts of experience no but I have done a lot of tutorials in my time etc.
Graphics or Media & Music? Graphics.

Are you able to hand in a legible article weekly? Yes, unless I am on holiday etc around twice a year for a week.

Question - If I am accepted so would I be choosing around 3 pieces of work from Graphics Showcase each week that I think deserve recognition?

And I would post like free useful downloads, tutorials etc right?

Do you have any past experience with writing articles? I do have experience writing articles, as I was part of my highschool newspaper team. The Highschool I attended was home to thousands of students, and we were constantly finding ways to catch their attention and keep them reading our weekly issue.

Graphics or Media & Music? I would prefer Media & Music, but I am available for any position you feel I fit in best.

Do you meet the above requirements? I do meet the above requirements.

Are you able to hand in a legible article weekly? Absolutely. I always meet any deadline that is given to me, and I hand in articles that have been proof read, corrected, and guaranteed to be completed and formatted to the best of my abilities.

I don't have extensive experience, however, I have touched on it in school for projects and for my dad's companies.
Also, when I take my time in doing something, I give 110% effort in making sure it comes out as neat, elegant, and clean looking as possible.

Unless something in my life pops up unexpectedly, yes, I am able to bring in weekly articles for the FK News.
