Yeah this is a good idea, I'm always in some kind of IRC chat so it'd be cool to be able to have an FK one.

Having a chat built into this site will make it vulnerable to hacking. If you are talking about a dedicated offsite IRC, then that may be possible.

An onsite chat will never happen. However an offsite irc chat of some kind would be kinda cool.
