Currently have an iphone 4, I'm due for a new phone which I was gonna get the 5, but I was uncertain about the battery life.

My mate told me the samsung lasts for so much longer which.. could be the difference for me.

So.. Is it pretty much the same? or is it shit?

I'm waiting for the S4, said to be coming out on April.

My S2 lasts throughout the whole day, But I'm unsure about how long it can actually last as I just recharge it overnight.
Hopefully the S4 will come out by the time my contract finishes.

My S 4G / S II / S III with proper battery saving settings/low running process lasts forever.

The replacement batteries are also cheap because >Samsung

I don't have an iPhone or Samsung but I would get the Samsung over the iPhone. I've heard great things about it. As for the iPhone, my gf has one and I'd say my current phone is much better than it.

I can use 4g the whole day on my Galaxy Nexus without it dying. I just charge it before I go to bed. That's actively using it the whole day.

Plus they're all more durable than the iPhone.

I've rooted twice and only so that I could get features only root can have like droidsheep and faceniff.
Never got a custom ROM for it.

I guess I'll get the samsung then, I charge my phone overnight, and at work my phone is dead by about 4pm.
and on week ends when im out and about, it doesn't last very long.

Yeah I'd also recommend Samsung. They're amazing. The quality of the camera is also incredibly clear.
Cheap repairs too I believe.
