Flappy bird is getting taken out of the app store

Lmao, I guess to many people sent death threats when they didn't get far.

Why did he fucking get death threats? Im happy the game is getting removed. He's spamming his twitter and its kinda weird. He could make so much money.. w/e

In conclusion: Feel sorry for the developer, and the way people react to this game is pathetic.

Made $50k/day, going out on a limb and saying he made a little money. Haha. I would assume it's due to legal issues, although he's denied it is.

So many game creators get death threats from their games, I doubt he's taking it down for that reason.
When you're making that much, you wouldn't shut something down due to death threats. Maybe that's the case, but I'm doubtful.

This is sad,but if you have it downloaded you can indead play it and download it again.
 
He's shutting it down because it's a flash in the pan. If he'd kept it up the money would have dried up after a few months. By putting out that tweet he created a tonne of hype and boosted downloads by thousands, basically making the flash in the pan incredibly hotter for a day. I estimate he made at least 100k in that last day. Man is a fucking genius.

Its a simple marketing trick, this dude is just an all around genius for this. Watch, in a few weeks it will be back up in the app store and his bank account will skyrocket some more
