First week of "watching what i eat".

Been wanting to lose some fat and then gain some muscle so i have been watching what i eat. I lost 6 pounds the first week without doing any exercise.
On monday I'll be signing up for a gym which i recently posted on this forum a while ago, my mother just had to get the money together.

I'm pretty happy with how easy it was. I'm guessing i'll lose more with exercise.

Any tips on working out?
 
6 pounds is what in kilos? and May i ask how much you weigh atm? i have a few good links for Excercise plans and shedueles ill try get the links later
 
I want to do something like this, but I'm just so attracted to food ;'(. You can probably find some good plans online like Iron man is saying.
