First Userbar i've ever made.

That looks nice, this is the first one I made, it was the first time I attempted a userbar.


 
Its okay for your first time imho. Not too shabby.
 
Damn that shit sucks, just kidding it's okay for beginners.
 
Try a different font, will make that look alot better.

Alright this may sound harsh, but I'm not trying to be.

So first off the font and text styling is very plain. Try adding some inner and outer glows to give it a more 3d effect, as for the font you may want to go with a thicker, straight font. Right now the font looks very.... amateur. Also there is no "set" badge size, but you could probably make yours a little less tall and more wide. The rest actually looks very good, nice job!
 
Make it a little wider, I'd say. The text seems cramped.
