Filming with imitation guns, in public.

I once had an airsfoft war at the beach by all these houses. Someone called this places security/police and they came over. While all my friends hid I had to explain that they were airsoft guns and could not actually kill somebody. Lol I showed her the "bullets" and she still didn't understand.

So ya, like others said, just go around and explain to people what you're doing and maybe tell the police.
 
Ive found you cant use them in public on others property But if you own the land or have permission from the owner to Shoot on their land then its ok
If you don't own the land or have permission then they can take them away etc
 
Here in NY someone got killed because they did the same thing. (Brought fake guns around the neighborhood.) Hell, only guns i've had were those toy star wars laser guns when i was little.

Good luck though. You SHOULD be allowed if you tell everyone what you're doing.

@[Justin], surely they can't open fire without knowing it's an actual gun?
 
I'm not entirely sure but in the US I believe it is illegal to have a air soft gun without a orange painted tip, or else it is considered a deadly weapon. Quite a few people have been shot by cops for revealing an airsoft gun or BB gun without a painted tip.

Well they didn't have any cameras with them, they looked like robbers, (Had masks on) and they didn't put the guns down when the cops told them too.

I'm pretty sure atleast one guy got shot, I don't know if anyone died. I stretched that part out a little too much.
 
I say you just run around with a fake bomb strapped to your chest and the gun strapped to your back..

But no in all seriousness don't do it without proper permission because you can get a ticket for that I believe.
 
OP read what I said

In canada I know for a fact you cant shoot any where Off your own property or you have to have permission to shoot on the property
So if cops come and see you guys And catch you your Guns get taken away + Fine or just something on your record

Just go shoot in your backyard or a friends yard
 
Yeah I have... the hard way. The neighbors called the cops and described us as "Men with automatic weapons" and we had the whole NJ police on our ass.
