Feedback on video

I was in Melbourne over the weekend and my cousin and I decided to make a project, we made it dedicated to the 200m contest for the video, shortly before it was closed

So I decided I'd share it with you guys anyway and get your opinion on what you think on it. My cousin is quite creative with his designs, graphics, etc.

Very well made, and sorry we had to close the competition due to lack of interest. I think you would of had a good chance at winning from seeing that video.

I may have some video editing work for you if you are interested, send me a PM if you are with your Skype and we can go from there.
 

Yeah we took the video, cut out the "action" scenes and compiled it to form an intro.

Your video infringes on so much copyright. Half of your video is just taken from http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ajz5Poh_giI with no credits back to RuneScape. You just cut it in places and then added your little guide.

Yes, you're absolutely right, I completely forgot about the copyright credits. I forgot about it because I was more concerned on what I had to put in the description/tags to be legible to compete in the Rune Gear contest. I will update it right now, I also didn't believe we took much out of the cinematic (20 odd seconds out of the possible 1:30) we thought this would be a neat idea as an intro for the video. But oh well, you are entitled to your own opinion and I am grateful you could be honest about it.

Perhaps you could've kept the competition open until the deadline, and then decided whether it had enough entries or not. There was still 3 weeks, plenty of time for people to make and post something.

Sorry for such the late reply, only just realized viewing previous threads that there was an reply. Being that we were using a Mac, we had created this via Final Cut Pro x.

Ah yes, I just downloaded it about a week or two ago. Over 6GB :S

Did you use Motion at all, or just Final Cut?
