Favorite memories about RS

Well I have quite a lot, but I'll name my top 5:

#1- Old Pking, will never forget it. Was just absolutely the very best
#2- Oh, how I loved the drop parties, the original ones
#3- Can't forget about the drop tradea
#4- The old duel arena, could stake anything
$5- The old PC (pest control) You got mad xp for every point you had, and not to mention, you didn't have to wait for all the portals to open. Some rounds I played were over in less than 30 secs, and that is no bull.
 
My favorites are old.

I think me and Carbon are the only oldfags in here that played RS classic.

So old, and I agree with everything you said above.

The trade limit killed me, too many four year old kids were getting scammed.
 
Good memories that = bad now
Giving away party hats and xmas crackers and all the Holiday items for free, wish I would have known =(.
In my bank I had 143 Blue phats and 32 purples, I also had 5 xmas crackers, 3 santas, about 2 of every mask, and ended up giving them away because I thought they were dumb, but I guess I jsut saw my own reflection when I said that.
 
Actually, I played a little bit of RS classic, I remember the "dupe" and Jagex was offering lifetime membership to whoever could help them stop it lol

Lol you right, I should've included all the scams lol These were my fav scams:


Trust game
Free armor trimming
Cutting all gems
And of course, the infamous Lure lol Can't top that
 
I loved the lure. I used logic on the people to scam most of them. But we shouldn't discuss that here.
 
Oh man.. The memories.. God i wish it was those times again.

One of my all time favourite memories (When their was proper PK'ing and was infesting with everyone being in a massive group, just a max of 5 people teaming up in lvl 1-10 wildy):
Me and my mate would be bored on a Friday night (this is when we were like 9,10,11 or something like that), We'd make a mage pure, give it like 50k from our noob mains and start pking from scratch. Always ended up getting to Fire Bolt, then getting to hard to level. We'd do this on a Friday night, following Saturday night + day and following Sunday for about a month or 2 then starting a new pure. We'd also trick people with our names, Like our best nooby lvl 1-10 pking acc's, the names were Mage O0 O0 and Mage 00 00. We'd dress the same and confuse people. One time it was like 9AM and i PK'ed like 900 Chaos Runes, I went crazy over it xD.

Then the later years.. When i wasn't so nooby and knew a scam or 2 up my sleeve.. I'd act as a JaGex Mod, Social Engineer a noob aorund lvl 30-50 with any from or (t) or (g), transfer it over to my main and sell it never touching the other account again. Then bam... They destroy trading and PK'ing.
 

Lol wow. I miss the castle north of edge, that was like pk heaven. When you got jumped, just run in castle and run up and down the ladder lol.
 
when you could scam by asking someone to drop a rare item on one side of the fence to you could see what it looked like, they telegrab it llolol

Never seen anyone do that lol. However I do remember "Hey best friend, can I borrow your hat, I want to look rich for a minute". This was before the actual lend item was implemented.

hahaha, I pretending to be some girls boyfriend (when i was like 10), and I asked her if I could borrow her Black (G), within 30 seconds of having it, I was logged out and changing world.

Haha yeah.. After you got about 30 combat, you'd leave lvl 1-10 wildy and start pking in bigger groups at "hillz" or "hillys" and chaos altar and Black Knights Castle or w/e it was called.
 
I'm going to have to say that my favourite memory of RuneScape is meeting someone through it. I played for about 2 years with them, then got their MSN. We've been talking since then. It's now approaching about 4 years I've known her.

I never did anything like that, you can never tell who is really a chick and who isn't. Unless there was a video chat, which I never do with anyone.

Lol video chat on RS. I can imagine people looking like 12 years old and saying that they'll bang us.

Hmmm, well. I asked this dude if I could trim his armour, and he believed that you could actually trim armour. I logged out and switched worlds He reported me and I was muted for a few days

When I made my first 100k, I was so happy. I felt like the richest person on runescape
