Why martyrdom? In my opinion, its one of the noobiest perks. I know it drops a grenade when you die and gives you a chance to kill your enemy, but the chances are usually slim.

Last Stand wastes time in my opinion. Also, it is the only third perk, besides last stand, that really gives you a better chance of killing your enemy.
 

I would disagree. Steady Aim or Deep Impact are probably the two best perks that give you a much better chance of killing your enemy. Steady Aim really helps with hip-firing with sub-machine guns and its very useful. Deep Impact is not only helpful with any type of automatic weapon but also with any type of Sniper Rifle. It really keeps that dreaded hit marker away and helps you kill enemies through think walls and objects.
