Far Cry 3 Help?

Hey i bought Far cry 3 Yesterday and it keeps looping on Detecting Uplay passport, i can play it but just as long as im disconected from live. i took it back to where i bought it and he just gave me a new disk and said if this one doesnt work its on my end.

any who i think theres something wrong with the uplay server or something
can someone help?
