Famine in East Africa

Its sad I know but its reality, people don't realise what others go through.
 
Why do we waste money sending food to these places? If people actually cared, they would remove the indigenous tribes or even modern societies out of the goddamn desert. We have deserts in America, but we choose not to live in them because we know that they do not produce what we need to live.
 

Yeah, Its really stupid. I just dont get it. If I ever become rich I will goto africa with food and water and stay for like a week and help them as much as possible.
 
I went to a convention this past weekend. The speaker recently went on a mission trip to Africa. He said that over 6,000 people in the world die everyday from the lack of clean water alone. It's pretty sad.

I agree, people should appreciate what they have. Because some places they live with nothing, And Loads die from the lack of food.

I feel really bad for them. We take everything we have for granted.
 
Ya it is pretty bad. I also saw a commercial yesterday that said that parts of Africa are in the biggest drought they have had in years, and millions of people are at risk of dehydration. (If thats how it is spelled)
 
Ya, I think that all those famous actors and actresses with billions of dollars could donate millions from each of them and that still would barely even affect themselves.
 
Will no doubt sound like a cunt here but when I see things like this on the news I feel absolutely no sympathy for these people.
