Facebook spends 8.5 million dollars 4 just domain!!

It is said that facebook founder/owner spends 8.5 million dollar 4 just domain.wow isnt it a huge amount!! Last year facebook made several changes like introduce new message service which will help its user to interact with each other more effectively.Many domains r buyed by facebook like fb.com!!

Thats extremely expensive.
Its problaby because of their high traffic. Facebook averages like 60x more than that so the high price shouldn't be a problem.
 
This huge sites revenue is also good if they spend such a huge money only for domain
 
this is an insane amount of money to spend on just four domains, just goes to show how much money facebook has lol
 
By this seeing this amount i was too shock this huge amount just for domain,so we can guess that how much facebook will be earning..!!
 
there are a lot other domains that are even more expensive chk the price for america.com or business.com and i dont think 8.5 mil is anything compared to the profits of the company
