They should have a 'lock EXP gain' button for certain skills. I seriously would do anything to get 1 def back.

Now that, is a great idea, but I'd get 40 defence then wear rune armour, then get 40 attack and wear rune scim, then reset them both lol, lvl 3 with full rune and scim.
Profit.

LOL! Private server's which got this features doesn't let resetting while wearing gear. I think Jagex would have an anti-fix also.

Not like your pure was really good atm, unless you did a bunch of quests. Then you should be extremely pist. Your fault you didn't have a good weapon binded either soz to say.
