Explain Halo Ranks

Hey guys.

I've recently got Halo 4, and I was wondering
if someone could explain how the ranks go?

I'm an active cod play and I've mostly played cod.

But I am totally not familiar with halo.
So if someone could explain me the ranks I'd
really appreciate

Vouch for this, it also has little challenges to help you get to a higher level.

It's basically just like CoD but there's only 130-140 levels I'm not sure what it is though.

Halo 4 is an ok game it's just too fancy.

Halo 4's ranking system is like COD's ranking system. You don't rank up by skill, you rank up by playing the game a lot. There's 130 ranks.

the ranking system works like this

you gain xp from rank 1-130

once you hit rank 50 you get to choose a specialization

there are 8 specializations which give 10 ranks each

each specialization has a armor set and a unique armor ability or something similar

1-50 coming in April, visible per playlist like halo 3. Your highest skill achieved will be on waypoint . Example: halo 3 service record: highest skill achieved; 50. That will be viewed on waypoint. As of right now, it is sr 1-130 . At 50, you specialize and gain new equipments and armor etc. after 50, you specialize every ten ranks. Ex: specialize at 60, then 70,80,90.......130 max.
