Hello, I haven't abandoned runegear just yet. I don't think I plan on it, either. I stop in daily if not bi-daily and look at the recent threads, take in some valuable information posted by our #1 member @"Deathcrow" only to have it forgotten within 6 hours or so.
So, if you're too lazy to check who this is it's your lovely pone-fgt Scenery. Just recently changed my name within the hour because why the hell not?
With the start of this new year, I've already gotten myself into a bunch of problems and troubles. I've been in and out of the hospital for heaps of common problems and really awkward situations. No, I haven't used super glue as lube or inserted my penis into a hot pie sitting on the kitchen counter.
What exactly happened that I had to go to the hospital? Well during the first week or so in January I got a little too drunk and decided to take some codeine as well because I'm a bad individual. No I didn't overdose or anything but rather I got a little too curious about a bunch of topics and since I was on skype with a friend who regularly cuts herself because she doesn't get the attention she wants, I brought up the topic about cutting/self harm and how anybody would gain any self satisfaction from it.
After a bit of words, I left for a moment and grabbed one of my shaving razors and broke it apart until all thats left were the blades. My friend saw me doing this on camera and started freaking out which I disregarded completely. Took a couple slashes and well things didn't go to well.
After realizing what I did, I grabbed a towel and headed off - or stumbled - to my friends house and knocked on their door. He answered and before I even got the chance to say hi like the good person I am, he freaks out about my bloodied arm and towel. Explaining happened, he drove me to the hospital, filled out paperwork next to a mother and her child. You know, nothing wrong with a gushing arm and all.
Only had to wait 10 minutes or so, got checked out, blah blah. To my surprise I didn't really damage anything, they were just cuts. got cleaned up and bandaged up while they asked how this all happened. Fun stuff, it is. After about just only an hour or so I'm already back on my way home and finish the night with a bang by going to sleep with my friend watching movies. Bless her for being a trooper :>
Speaking of hospitals, around the end of Jan / beginning of Feb. I woke up rather uncomfortable early in the A.M.. My ear itched just a bit and figured it was just my hair being a no0bzor until I woke up a bit more. I felt a continuous scratching inside of my ear and I kind of more than just panicked. I began slapping the side of my head like.... I don't even have a simile but I must have looked pretty dumb. There was an insect lodged in my ear scraping away at my ear drum. It pretty much freaked out everytime I did which wasn't very fun.
Usual procedures ensue, go to my friends house at 2 A.M, drive to the emergency room, fill out paperwork, get admitted, blah blah. The first set of nurses ask what's wrong, I tell them as calmy as possible although i'm under the constant pain of a concentrated ear ache.
They take a look inside my ear, but not good enough apparently seeing as they didn't see the bug at all and just thought it was ear wax. The nurses leave and the doctor comes in, checks me out and see's it almost instantly.
The doctor guy gets some liquid that was meant to paralyze the bug, which it did I guess. Either that or it drowned inside my ear ;~;. So we get some of that poured into my ear and then I had to lie on my side for 30 minutes. I'm sitting there just watching soap operas while listening to this thing have it's last squirms before being paralyzed (or dying) then the doctor comes in. Now being me I thought they'd use some sort of tweezers or whatever else they had to pull the bug out. Nope, not what happens at all. He fills up a jug of water and brings out a large plastic syringe which a thin, long plastic needle.
He fills that bad boy up and puts the needle into my ear, then just blasts a tsunami wave right into my ear about 6 times. After all of that the bug finally dislodges and comes flowing out. That thing was more than just huge, I'll tell you that.
Blah blah, we go home, I go back to sleep, etc etc.
I also have nothing else really interesting to talk about. So, you can look at progress pictures of my OC pony that was drawn a week ago.
