I have been seeing lately that the long time users of Fk are neg repping new users for every little thing . As older members, that have been around longer and know how things go, we should be helping the new members not putting them down. It's like teaching a little brother to play his first video game. All I am saying is we should be setting an example for the new members and helping them out! We all at one point new members. Show some heart :/

Been saying this shit for ever now, and honestly we are new members as well but the people that joined a month or two after us are the majority of the ignorance... But hey it is what it is im done helpin niggas out when they never offer anything in return, not even a simple thanks lol

I'm not that old to the site, but not that new either.
I barely use the rep system, it's over-rated. People think they're an e-badass because they can give you -5/-10/-15. I don't find the use for it.
EDIT: Haha, Tyler, Josh, and I all joined during the same month. What a coincidence.

I know but as a big brother instead of scolding we should be setting an example. Neg rep does nothing to new users....

Generations change, the new kids today weren't the same as the new kids back then. In the old, smaller community everyone was chill and welcomed new people as those new people were kind and followed the rules, etc. Now the majority of kids join today from other forums and think they're known and run shit.

I know and I have seen this . I just think as older members we should be doing more . :/
 
The thing for me is most new memebers lack common sense, people know better than to spam 5+ of the same threads.
 

Nah, they only feel the need to act that way to fit in with the community, which I have to say is filled with people who "think they're known and run shit." It's not a bad thing, it's just that you're not going to really get known or "run shit" by acting small and being a dickrider.
 

You don't need to dickride to "be known". Being yourself get's you known for the right reasons, because you're a great guy that people enjoy being around. Dickriding only gets you looking like some little kid.

That's what I said, that you're not going to become known by dickriding members that are more known on a certain forum. Members who are new to the forum aren't necessarily new to the scene, so they probably aren't going to act like they are.
 
Who is -repping newer members? If they report the rep, 99% of the time it gets removed on this site anyways.

I - rep the fuck out of them j/k but its the people who joined in like september and later doing the shit, and they tell all the other little fucks to gang rep with them it pisses me off, I called a TON of them out on the shit and made them give me the messages and message logs, change there rep and apologize lolz

Well, I just warn the new users, a negative rep isn't necessary. I remember the first rep I got on the site when I joined was -5, because I gravedug.

Majority of the time nothing comes of it cause they suck a certain staff members tit lolz
But seriously why would i report it to staff when i can make them fix it my self?
