Ever Have Trouble Switching From Mobile to Regular Theme?

After the new theme switch for mobile (which is sexy, may I add), there has been some trouble with switching themes (with me and I believe some others as well).

Here's an easy fix:

Step 1:

Navigate to 'Theme options' by clicking the gear symbol at the top then scrolling down or simply click this link..

Step 2:

Under the 'Theme options' bar will be a list of options.
Click 'MyBB GoMobile'.

Step 3:

Navigate to 'Other Options' in 'Edit Options' in 'User CP'.
User CP > Edit Options > scroll down and find Other Options or simply click the link...

Step 4:

Under 'Board Style', open the drop down menu and select 'ForumKorner Dark' or 'Light' or whatever may be your personal preference.

Suggestion:

Fix this nuisance!

That was the first thing I tried. Sadly, it didn't work (for me..).

Edit: Just tried it again and still does not work.

Really? This has been working fine for me. In fact, it's been allowing me to switch by simply clicking a theme lately, not sure why. You can also get to edit options on the current theme to change it by going to the green settings button->profile-> edit options, if you didn't know.
 

Let me clear my cache and cookies really quick.
 
Should help members out. it was a pain in the ass to switch and i had to figure it out myself.
 
Yeah, just cleared everything, closed my browser, opened it and tried again. Still nothing so I don't know.

As i mentioned before (in previous threads) MyBBGM plugin is limited per 1 theme. Button "clear current theme selection" on FK mobile is a ajax function that is loading a "Switch to full version" link. After few seconds (when that button is clicked) button will have text "Cleared. Select your new default theme" and once you hit (for example) FK mobile dark theme (or MYBB GM theme) + if you are logged in, your last selection will be remembered once you visit FK from your PC (or laptop). The only way to revert to desktop version is by visiting UserCP -> Options.
 

When I click that option to clear the current theme and then switch to my preferred one, it just refreshes the page and keeps the same one (mobile theme).
 
What OS + browser are you using ?
You can try with this: once you are browsing via mobile version (if you are using FK mobile light) click on "FK mobile dark" (you'll be redirected to index page with no effects) and after that click on switch to full version (the result will be FK mobile dark as default theme).


Edit. try now, i have replaced ajax() with get().
 

Just tried this suggestion and a couple of other ideas I had.
None of them worked, even after I retried when I noticed your edit.
It's no worries, I'm just going to do it my way. Thanks for the assistance though (y)! Also, before your edit, when selecting the 'Clear Current Theme' on the dark theme, it didn't come up with the message. Now it does. Anyways, I thank you once again.
