The unique Pontiac Deluxe 6, 1939 that we see in the pictures has a body made ​​of Plexiglas that allows you to be completely transparent and was built by General Motors specifically to be present at the New York World Fair in 1940 in USA.
The vehicle known as "Ghost car" had a production cost of $ 25,000 (a pretty expensive for that time) and was sold in late July at the RM Auctions, one of the houses major auction and where will crown the world's most exclusive cars, located in Plymouth, Michigan for the modest amount and $ 308.000.
Through the plexiglass material can be seen inside the cockpit, door panels, engine and suspension together with white wheels. It has less than 160 km (100 miles) routes, was a joint project between GM and Rohm & Hass, a chemical company who invented the Plexiglas.
