Emulation [Updated for Dolphin]

Emulating. The art of playing old videogames on your computer through programs like project 64, and zsnes. Anyone else do this? And if so what games would you reccomend?


Games beaten: Ocarina Of Time, pretty much every mario/sonic available.

In progress: A link to the past, Majoras mask.

I use nemu64 and play Star fox + Pokemon Stadium 2
The Zelda games were good.

Hm, what emu you usin', and are your save files in the same folder as the emulator+game?

I'm not sure, I put them all in a folder, then when I'm like so far in the game I click save game, but when I come back and load the game, it starts me from the beginning so I say fuck it all and get off lol.

Only game I've successfully emulated was Sonic Adventure 2 Battle 2 or some shit, was so fun. Brought back a lot of childhood memories :3

I tried to emulate that on my old computer, and failed miserably. Perhaps I'll have better luck on my new one

I feel ya on that one, my internet goes out pretty often, ever week or so for a day or less,s o I like to keep downloaded shows, and videogames at the ready. And pr0n

I use Project 64, Visual Boy Advance and ePSXe. In P64 I mostly play Kirby and Mario Kart. VBA for Pokemon and Metroid. And ePSXe, the most amazing game I've played in my PS1, Sheep Raider (also called Sheep, Dog N' Wolf), and of course Crash Bandicoot.

Well Dolphins all set, but when I try to run windwaker the screen turns black after the opening cutscene :/
