About our website: We are a growing gaming community and we are trying to fill each section of our forum with HQ users and HQ posts. We also give money out which is basically payouts when you get a certain amount of "credits" on the website.We have a contest going on there now about whoever gets the most referrals will get $100 via paypal. Please go check it out, specially if you love gaming & meeting/talking to new people.


Hopefully this sticky will help my website grow.

His just started the site, why do you have to be so negative? Give him some pointers rather the going on like you know anything about being a web master. Last I saw of your designs, I thought that you was trolling me as the design looked so bad. No joke.

This may be a good example of why people who are new to the forums leave so quickly. No reason to be so negative or offensive.
 
A tip if you are creating a modding forum for like Xbox or ps3 or a system that domain would be perfect but not for a gaming forum

Ok,
get a new theme, remove tabs. They have been so over used of the years they are just ugly.

Remove most of the lounge sub forums, not needed for the most part.

Have one graphics forums, not a section and have sub forums coming off of that, your forums is a gaming forums not a graphics forums so it does not need a tab.

Your forums is small so why have a big marketplace.
Narrow it down a bit.

I think you should hold off on the premium, your forums just started. Get a member base and then add a premium feature.

Get some SEO backing your forums up, possible domain change.

Also why is it elitemodding if its a gaming forums, not the smartest move it will attract the wrong crowd and you will get fucked with SEO.

I'm here advertising my site . Yes, I'm advertising it on many sites tbh.
I'm trying to see feedback on it and see what i need to improve on. It's my first site ( not the first time it's been up) it's been defaced 3 times as I was rated. But, all 3 times we had over 300 members and 50 active at least a day. Which I thought was pretty good considering the fact that they all posted quite alot.

Hello, thank you for the suggestion.
The domain was made before the whole lobbies thing was shut down. However as the lobbies come back up , I think that would be apart of gaming. Most people do like modding on games.
Wether it be USB mods, PC mods ..etc

Thank you to all who've signed up or even took the time out of your day to visit the website.
I like suggestion's.
Wether they may be harsh or Positive.I take them all into consideration and since I've only used mybb for a short period of time I don't know much and still learning the ropes. I used IPB before so that is why I don't know much.
 
Hey man listen to my idea's, you will get more members and your forums will seem more professional.

People are tired of forums that looks the same.
