EDM? Like or Hate?

What's up my fellow FKers.  I am pretty knew around here by people's standards and I want to start becoming more active in this community.  
So here's the question.  What is your take on EDM?  I never really appreciated/enjoyed it until I got to college, but now I am addicted.
What is your opinion?
 
I listen to EDM a lot. I've been a listener of EDM for quite a few years now, and it's gotten me through some tough times in real life.
 
I used to be really addicted to it, and it was the only thing I would listen to. As of late I have gotten into other genres and don't listen to it as much but I still do love it and listen to it on occasion. Some of the newer styles are too much for me though, although I do enjoy the majority of it

Any low key artist that you would recommend? Also music has the best effects on people, I swear! 

New artist keep making up genres like "deep new house" or "grudge house".  Like what are you trying to accomplish? lmaoo

The shows are sick.  I promote for 2 clubs that get all these headliners that come.  I'm also getting free tickets to Sunset Music Festival and Spring Weekend if you have every attended.
 
I think EDM is pretty dope, The shows and concerts are amazing imo
