We just had this earthquake, house was completely rumbling for 30 seconds or so... I was stuck in my bedroom whilst my parents were upstairs. I had no fu*king clue what to do... I sorta panicked... But I just continued to lay in bed as if nothing happened xD We had objects falling off the wall and seeming as our T.V is wired/placed into the wall (no stand for support) that almost fell out s: So what's the worst natural disaster that's occurred where you've lived and how'd you react to it?

Oh man, It's all over FB! Hopefully you and your family are okay, I didn't feel anything since I'm in Sydney, but still apparently it was the biggest one in Victoria in 109 Years!

We're all fine at the moment It was just a massive shock due to we don't get them too often, as you'd know c: We had no serious damage done to belongings/property. Once it was actually over, we had no idea what to do. We kinda just stood on our front porch and yelled across to the neighbours about it for a bit. Car alarms were going off all down the street, haha.

When bouts was the last earth quake (or any kind of disaster) that occurred in Sydney? Haven't been there for about 7 years.

Before the earthquake (wasn't a natural disaster as such) we had some dickhead who lit fires up in the mountain/hill part of where I live, so if you can picture a community and an outskirts (the hills) with a small population living around them, some guy decided to start a fire, it spread throughout the hills and the blazes came within a kilometre away from our house. s: Can't remember if this was Feburary 09 or 10'

..And I thought this was gonna be about the minor earthquake that we had about an hour ago.
Awell. ..Did anyone else feel it?

Edit: Ha, thought this page was the first page, my bad ^^

Sounds scary, the part of the US I live in has nearly no worries about natural disasters aside from tornadoes but those all stay in the central plains.

Mind explaining how an earthquake feels? :>

Well I've never experienced an earthquake, but I'm sure that I'd be scared if one happened where I live.
The worse natural disaster that I've experienced has been just like a storm that it was raining for around 5 hours, it was extremely cold and lights went out for a few minutes.

It was kinda just like everything vibrating, like our whole house was just moving around... s: I was lying in bed and not actually standing, but my bed just completely shook and I bumped around, haha.

I was affected by Hurricane Irene, I was without power for 7 days, could be worse though, like lose house or sumthin.

Where abouts do you live near melbourne?

I felt it and within 2 minutes literally had over 200 status's on facebook saying earthquake.. bunch of retards.
