I'm at school and someone asks me about God, I tell them I'm atheist.

In his response he asked me these four questions:
Why can I move my finger if I don't have a soul?
Why do we come to school if we will die one day?
Why are you alive if you're atheist?
How can you see me if you don't have a soul?

People are dumb. All I can say.

Ask them if God created the 7 billion people on the planet now and the 30 billion that have perished through the ages did he create all those billions of people having the foreknowledge that the majority of them would burn in hell? And that is a loving God?

I'm all for religion, I believe you should have your own beliefs.
However, I don't want that shit forced down my throat and will argue the fuck with anyone that tries to.

Science shall prevail.

Atheism is a religion. It's stupid to say you're an atheist if you acknowledge religion or believe in a higher power. I don't believe in either which is why I don't classify myself like other ignorant people saying they're "atheists." If you say you're an atheist, you're pledging to a religion when apparently you don't believe in one. That's stupid.
 
The thing that makes me most mad about this is that people like this guy are the reason religious people are looked down upon. I have pretty strong opinions on my faith and I could hold a steady convo with someone without making myself look like a dumbass. People like this guy are just unintelligent and should keep their mouths shut until they know what they're talking about. Not all religious people are like this, but like @DITA said, because it's a personal preference and choice, unfortunately even the idiots can have beliefs but not know why they have them.

Also, not all of us feel the need to shove it down the throats of everyone else. I respect your views as an atheist and nobody can decide that but yourself so there is no need is pestering people and trying to force anything on them. I'm sorry for idiotic people like this guy you're dealing with.

Also, is my assertion that your belief is false offending you? If so, please tell me how the Christian feels when the Muslim prays to Allah- or when the scientologist feels when the majority of the theistic world shits on their beliefs..

Atheism will be defined in the contemporary western sense: not just the lack of belief in a god, but the assertion about the non-existence of any gods, spirits, or divine or supernatural beings. Atheists in this sense are metaphysical naturalists, and as will be shown, they DO follow a religion.
