here are some tips i would like to share with you guys:

1. buy simple pieces that won't go out of style and then accessories. if everyone is wearing something trendy, but the only reason you'd wear it is to fit in, skip it. a cool necklace or belt matched with simple basics is as stylish, and cheaper, than a whole new outfit.

2. choose flattering pieces over trendy ones. if you want to look so good, you have to feel good about the way you look. choosing pieces that fit you body type will help you feel better than going for something in style that doesnt suit.

3. look in the newspaper or online for special sales and coupons, you may be surprised at what you find. if there's a two-for-one sale happening, go in with a friend that you'll both get one at half price.

4. shop in outlets. most big companies have outlets to sell the items they didn't sell the previous year. some stores don't change product lines that much, so the stuff from last year is basically the same as this year's, only at half the price or less. this is especially true for simple clothing lines.

5. trade clothes with your friends. when you're sick of your wardrobe, take out everything you don't want and ask your friends to do the same. then have a party to swap. your trash may be your friend's treasure.

6. trust your instincts when developing a personal style. chances are you'll look your best if you feel good about what you're wearing; don't let other people boss you around. choose clothes that make you feel great about yourself and your confidence will carry you.

7. when buying dress shoes or work shoes, be picky and only buy comfortable footwear. also, be open to buying shoes when you run across a great sale or a pair you particularly love, even though you may not be in the market for them.

8. buy quality instead of quantity. no one will notice if you wear the same black skirt or pants more than once in the same week. pay extra for things that will last and ne comfortable. buy one suit, for example, and three shirts/ties to mix and match or blouses/belts/jewelry that go with it to change the look.

9. think about how easy it is to move around in the garment you're considering. before you buy it, always sit down in the outfit to see how it looks when you're seated.

so what do you think? evil:evil:evil:
