There's one at the bottom and one on the right hand side of the site.

Lol. I don't see how that is a bad thing. I look at the one on the right more often than the one at the bottom. Some people might do other way around?

Yea, I posted a while ago that I would like a warning message for when someone else posts a new comment while you were typing out yours. Which just happened to me. I obviously wouldn't of put the reply I did if I saw what Amped posted just before me.
