My friend is asking me how much Keyword.com is worth.

If I owned that domain, I'd sell it for $1,200,000 cash and buy a small beachside property and build a hut.

@Sintation a lot of things go into a domain's value.

The fact that it's a .com, actual dictionary root word and so damn clean makes it expensive.

I swear to God, I see Microsoft or Google dropping $2MM on this EASY. Google bought Motorola for like $21BB & sold it for like $3BB* or some shit. This would be nothing to them.

* I can't be fucked to lookup the actual numbers but they took a major loss on it.

1.2 million is insanely overpriced, lol.

Providing it was obtained legally (although I know the answer to that one) it'd be worth like 10 - 50k on a domain forum.
 
I still don't know why this is worth anything?
 
If you want a fast sell it could make a quick $50k or more. If you find the right buyer you could find yourself with a big gem.

But thats all an "if" because I don't fully believe this without some sort of proof yaknow? Also, method of getting? If it is in fact taken I would sit on it for a while and see what happens but I've seen domains jacked before and nothing happens so it could be a big win?
